This short course offers students an opportunity to develop essential knowledge and skills in infection prevention and control specifically within the individual support sector.
It prepares learners to apply basic infection control principles and safe work practices while supporting clients in community and care settings. Students completing this course will be ready to assist in maintaining safe environments and reducing infection risks in direct client care.
For existing workers in the sector, this course offers a pathway to formalise infection control competencies required for their roles and support career progression.
